That December 2007 weekend was so painful for Tech and WVU


I now remember WVU loss to Pitt that weekend and Tech was potentially in the conversation about making it to the championship. Tech had strong computer polls and they were ahead of LSU in the coaches poll. The voters dropped Tech in the polls and LSU made it to the championship game. Tech probably didn't belong in the game and lost to Kansas in the Orange bowl. Unlike Tech, WVU finished strong in the bowl game.
